He nodded. "That and i just watch what they do, who they are with, or who theyre not with. You can tell a lot just by how a person acts"he explained with a shrug. He checked his watch. "Another hour before close up time"
"See something intereseting?"He gave her a look as he saw her looking at him, studying him. His skin seemed to react to it though he still showed now outward signs to being affected by anything really.
He looked down at the finger she brushed agianst his forarm and then back up to her. His eyes looking deep into hers. "Well.."He said,"Ive been serving him for awhile, I know his limits. I dont really know yours..."He smirked, "though your starting to hit on a stranger, that works the bar. When you first sat down you seemed almost shy, so.."he said, oh what should he do. He could play with her, give her another drink, see how loosened she gets.
He wouldnt mind a roll or two, there was obviously an attraction there, so why not play on it. His tongue coming out to wet his lips as a slow grin came to his lips again. So much could be taken from that grin, as his eyes held a little glint in them as well. Hell he probably wouldnt see her again, at least not once the summers over, so why not have some fun, get it out of his system. "I think Ill give you another one, first time i find out how far you can go an then next time You sit at my bar, thats when i start giving over the coffee."he smirked.

"You're interesting..." She said, not realizing she'd spoken aloud until the words were out and her cheeks flamed bright red. She smiled through it though, the alcohol not allowing her to be embarrassed for long. It had been ages since a man flirted with her...showed any interest in her, it was nice. Nice in a way that she didn't want to talk about.
"Ach, you aren't a stranger, West," She corrected him lifting her hands to twist her hair up off her neck, allowing the slight breeze that was blowing to cool her heated skin. "We've been talking for...what an hour? I'd say that at least gets us to acquaintances, yes?"
She was playing with fire, somewhere in the back of her mind she knew that. But there was something about West that was taking hold of her. She wanted to be near him, touch him, discover what would allow him to put down his carefully constructed walls and just...smile. "I know me limit," She insisted, the irish accent characteristically thicker as she shifted on her stool, her blue eyes sparkling as she gazed over at him. "And I could have worse company..."

HE let out a light little laugh as she said he was interesting. He raised his brows and shrugged. "hm... Im merely a Bartender"he smirked, though the look he gave her said he was much more then just a bartender. He reached out and brushed his fingers over her cheeks, "I like that... its cute"
WEst considered her words and then noddedd. "yeah I suppose we would be."he looked a ther raising a brow. "If you insist, then I wont argue. You know..."he said, "We could alway sget to know each other more... what are you doing in a little less then an hour?"he asked, her as he leaned on the counter again, his eyes falling to the curve of her neck as she lifted her hair up off of it.
He licked his lips curious as to how her skin tasted. He had the urge to lean over and taste it, but he didnt, instead he let his finers reach out to the stray piece of hair that had been laying against her neck, twirling it around his finger, his fingers brushing against her neck lightly in the process. His eyes went to hers as he felt the slight tingle on his skin though he didnt show that he noticed it.
He wanted the hour to go fast. He knew they would be great together already, and god how he wanted to taste that. To experience that. He pulled away from her, letting his finger loet her hair go loosly as he moved away to get the strays, a lot of them had left, going to the show they had been waiting for. he collected his money, and he didnt even realize the group of kids had left already as well. Though he did see the napkins under an empty glass, money sticking out from it, and two names scrawled on the napkins with their digits under the names. He shook his head and tossed the napkins as he wiped the counters agian and refilled the guys coffee.
He walked back over to her, there were only 4 patrons left aside from her. "So what do you say Daisy?"he asked.

She was transfixed. Frozen in place as his fingers grazed against her skin, the heat that sparked between them impossible to ignore. She craved him, her eyes drifting to his lips, wondering what he tasted like, what his skin would feel like beneath her fingers. Her lips parted slightly as he released her hair and moved away.
She should say no. He had made it remarkably clear what he wanted and she wasn't a woman given to one night stands or flights of fancy. He was a man with an edge, a hardness that both enticed and worried her. But the harder she tried to fight it, the more she wanted him. Did she always have to be so...proper? She was on vacation why not let go...why not just...exist in the moment without planning for the future.
You could get hurt, her mind warned, but she brushed the thought aside as he approached her again. Visions of being swept up into those arms, ravage by that mouth and pulled against that hard body filled her mind and it was so tempting... "Okay..." She heard herself saying, her eyes finding his and holding, and she wished the hour was up.

He was almost surprised to hear her say okay, but then again she couldnt deny the look in her eyes. She wasnt very good at hiding what she was thinking, and West was glad for it, at least for now. She was like a little fawn, and he was going to eat her. Sure in the morning it would all be over. He would have gotten it out of his system, then again he could just keep it going and have a easy catch for the summer. Didnt mean he couldnt have others aside from her.
Again working at a place like this was heaven. Granted half the time you were getting bad looks, but mainly form the guys. The women all wanted to hang all over you... they were rich and beautiful wihtout a care in the world. They could snag up any poor slob that caught their fancy, use them and then discard them for someone else. Its how the world turned here at the dream getaway resort.
"Alright then.."he said as he took her near empty glass and refilled it, "You just stick here, if these four..."He said motioning to the left over people, though as he saw there were only two now.. 'If these two people leave soon, I can lock up early"He smirked, as he went over to the guy whod had the coffee, he was passed out the cup in his hand. "Though this guy we'll have to drop off first'he nodded as he took the glass and started to clean up, getting ready to lock up.

She had the distinct impression that she might have just gotten in way over her head. But as his eyes held hers, the words of promise hanging in the air she could do little else but sit back on her stool and finish her drink. She didn't even taste it anymore, the anticipation and nerves nearly eating her alive as she watched him move about the bar.
What was she doing? This was so out of character for her, but there was a part of her who loved the idea of it. That sweet lick of lust that was burning in her belly as her eyes found him again. Moved over those perfectly formed muscles and marveled over the fact that he wanted her. Too wrapped up in her business, she'd forgotten what it was to feel desirable, and she relished it.
When the last patron had moved away and it was just her and West with the passed out patron, she stood, somewhat unsteadily on her feet and waited for him. She searched for words...something to say to fill the air that snapped with energy between them. "Do you know where to take him?" She asked finally, motioning towards the old man.

after he finished up he stepped out putting the walls down over it so no one could get in and steal it. Sure it was an open bar, but stealing was not permitted. He lifted the guy over his shoulder easily. The guy was not a scrawny man had weight to him, but West carried him like he was sack of potatoes.
He looked over his shoudler at her and nodded. "Oh yeah.. Mr. Brinx is a regular. I usually go through this routine with him..'He said and shook his head a bit. "The guys lonely, he drinks himself every night and then i take him back up to his room and hes back agian the next day. He lost his wife god..."he said thinking. "I would say... maybe.. 6 years ago, and he hasnt remarried since."he said. "They truly loved each other, from what he says."
He led them up to the motel area, nodding to the bellhop. They never bothered West when he did this, hed doen it so many times they just shake their heads now. They know. "Then agian it could all just be drunk mans talk"He said, "But whos to say anything"
They got to his room and West pulled out his key from his pocket opening it up. HE walked him over to his bed, setting him down, and then proceeded to take the guys shoes off and cover him up. When he was done he walked over and got a wet washcloth from the bathroom and came back wiping his face and then rinsed it out once more before just laying it over his forhead. HE also grabbed the garbage can and set it beside the bed before finally stepping back.
He looked at her. "Ready?"He asked as he walked towards the door shutting the over head light off, but keepign the bathroom one on. It cast a glow into the room in. Just in case Mr. Brinx got up, he wouldnt be blinded but hed be able to see his way around.

West carried the man as though he weighed nothing and her alcohol muddled mind couldn't help but admire the ease with which he moved underneath the man's weight. Once they arrived at his room, Daisy leaned up against the wall and watched him move about. There was a tenderness to his touch here, a softness to his movement that belied the steely exterior he tried to give himself.
West was a man given to caring about others, when provided the chance, Daisy judged and the thought only made him that much more attractive to her. Smoothing a hand over the front of her cotton skirt, she waited, pushing off the wall as he drew closer. "Aye, I'm ready," She said softly, her voice lilting in the quiet stillness of the room.
They slipped back out into the hall and Daisy looked up at him, wishing that she had some witty or charming remark to make but the alcohol prevented anything from popping into her mind. So she settled on a soft sigh, and the brush of her fingers against his forearm as they walked. "That was kind of you."

West looked down at her, that feeling on his skin again as she brushed her fingers over rhis arm. He shrugged. "What kind of a bartender,... or even person, would I be if i let the man sitt here. God only knows what the people around here would do.. or even the employees." He led her down and out of the hotel area.
"Did you want to go some place? "he asked, "or have you had enough of the outlife for the night and just want to go back to your place, maybe... get a drink or coffee even'He smirked, "talk a little bit more..."he gave her a charming grin, his eyes reveililng what exactly he meant by 'talk'.
He put his arm down to the middle of her back as he led her around a pot of flowers as he cut through the grass with her. "Midnight swim..."he smirked winking at her.

"Still...there are people who would do less," Daisy commented, her eyes steadier as they moved away from the man's room and out of the hotel.
She looked up at him as he spoke, catch the look that darkened his eyes when he said "talk", the way his face looked softer underneath the moonlight, the pale light making him look even more handsome. "I could do something else..." She replied, biting her lip as she moved closer to him, wanting to breath in his scent again. "I got in this afternoon and ended up falling asleep...I'm not really...tired."
She felt the heat of his hand on the middle of her back, the weight of his arm as it wrapped around her and she resisted the urge to snuggle into the touch. Her skin tingled and came alive beneath that tiny connection and she wondered at the fire that might exist if they did pursue this further. Tilting her head she look up into his eyes, resisting the urge to lift her hand and trace the line of his jaw with gentle fingers. Instead her arm settled around his waist and she moved closer, wondering if he felt it too. "I think I'll save the swimming for tomorrow...when I can see..."

He laughed lightly. "Oh?"he said, 'Your not down with midnight swimming...?"he gave her a curious look. He thought about where he could take her, Right now they were having the exotic dancing at Entertainment PLeasures, and looking t daisy, he was sure she wanst the type. HE tilted his head some again as he thought, though making sure they didnt run into anything.
Maybe food, but he didnt want to make this too much like a date, cause honestly it wasnt. What he wanted was what came after all of this buttering up and damn if he wasnt anticipating that. His skin seemed to be alive at the thought and he wanted ... really did want to know what they would be like. He arlready was sure it would be great. But how great? Thats what he wanted to find out, and he didnt wan tto really give her anymore drinks. IF she passed out that wouldnt be fun.
"Well how bout,..." it would have to be out of the place, the only places approprately open would be the club a few miles away from here. "want to go to the club?"he asked, "Do some dancing?"he quirked his brow up with a playful smirk.

"It's not the swimming so much..." Daisy said softly, studying him as she felt her insides twist at the look he shot in her direction. "...it's you." She could admit that he unnerved her, sent her emotions and feelings on end and mixed up her brain so she could barely think.
It was a bold proclamation to make aloud, and it was clear that West didn't need anymore provocation. But Daisy believed in being honest and the fact of the matter was that the idea of a midnight swim thrilled her a little TOO much to make her comfortable. She knew she wanted him, she was aware enough to realize that and the fact that she could see the same desire reflected briefly in his eyes made her body warm all over. She was teetering on the edge of throwing caution to the wind, of forgetting herself and just existing in the moment, something Mike said she needed to do more of. But did she dare risk it with this man?
She was jerked back to reality as she realized he was looking at her expectantly, waiting for an answer. A blush touched her cheeks and she nodded slowly. "Dancing sounds lovely."

His brows went up as she said that, 'hmm.." its all he said as he looked ahead of them leading them towards the front of the resort. He felt her arm go around him, the warmth from it burning through his shirt. To anyone else they probably looked like a cute happy little couple. West didnt even care, he never really cared, though he realized he cared even less right now. People shouldnt think that, but meh...whatever.
He hailed a taxi, they were always coming in and out of the place, people used them it was the transportation around here as well as other methods, but usually their own. He helped her in and then gave the directions to the club. He looked over at her, giving her one of those famous mysterious smiles of his. he was tempted to start converstation, but there was something about doing that in the back of a cab that didnt appeal to him.
West glanced out the window at the night life of the island, it didnt take long for them to get to the club and west took some money out to pay the guy befoer getting out and helping her out as well. "So how do you like the island so far/'he asked as he put his hand to the small of her back again, the taxi driving off, as he led her into the club.

There was something comfortable about the silence in the taxi, something almost easy, as though they'd ridden in silence together for years and not only just met. She supposed that's why she was drawn to him, why should couldn't resist sliding a little closer on the seat towards him. Once they arrived she slid her hand into West's as he helped out of the car and she looked around, her eyes sparkling.
"It's a beautiful place," She said, responding to his questions, nestling closer as they walked inside and her voice began to get drowned out by the music. "I can't imagine living here all the time...it must be like a dream." The little bit of island she had seen WAS like a dream, sun-drenched days, balmy peaceful nights under a blanket of stars. If she could have described a location from her wildest fantasy, she wouldn't have done as fine a job.
As they edged around the dance floor her hips began to move with the beat of the music and forgetting her nerves from early she wrapped her hand around his arm and pulled him towards the floor. "I do believe you promised me a dance..."

"mm..."He nodded, it really was a beautiful place, and he had been staying there for quite some time. He would have left, but he was sure that if he left then nick would show up, so therefore he figured might as well stay in one spot and wait. IT definatly wasnt painful staying here.
HE looked down at her as she took his arm taking him to the dance floor with his promise of a dance to her. His lips turned up at the corner of his mouth and he shook his head. "So quick.."He said, "I wouldnt dream to let a girl sit when her hips want to move'He teased, his hands going to her hips as he started to dance with her.
West waas a pretty good dancer, and Daisy was good as well, they made quite the match on the dance floor. THere were a few professional dancers that woud stop by around now and weed through the crowd, dancing with the customers as well as themselves. IT was nice, and a change from most clubs. People had fun, even if they werent drinking. West was glad it wasnt Kereoki night. (i cant spell keriokay loL)
