It had been a gorgeous day when Daisy woke that morning, the golden sunlight streaming through her window and playing designs across the floor of her room. It had taken a few days but she was actually getting used to the idea of sleeping late and not having to worry about placing orders, taking phone calls or mountains of paper work. So she had risen and slid into her favorite bikini, walked out of the room and down onto the beach.
She was making it a practice to start her days with a good walk on the beach. Ever since her first morning...when she'd woken up alone after the most amazing sex of her entire life. Part of her hadn't been surprised when West wasn't there that morning, she knew part of what she had done was okayed a one night stand. And that meant the guy didn't stick around. But it didn't mean she stopped thinking about him.
He invaded her every thought, drifted in when she least expected it, memories flashing in her mind. He'd been one man, on one night but he had dazzled and overwhelmed her. She liked to think she was a level-headed woman, one with dreams, but with her feet firmly planted on the ground. But nothing could explain the way she had wandered out to the bar the past few nights only to find he wasn't working. Nothing could explain the disappointment that gnawed at her belly at not seeing him around anywhere.
And mostly she wondered if he thought of her at all.

West had kept himself away from the bar for the past couple of days. Beside Rick had owed him for sticking up for him and that meant working the nights he had been assigned. He neede a break. For some reason he couldnt get that girl out of his mind. She was there when he went to bed, took a shower, in his dreams. when he awoke again. She was in the sunlight that poured over is closed eyes and sleeping form. She was everywhere.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair as he continued to jog. He was hoping it would clear his mind, and the smell and taste of the ocean in the air was always a nice thing. clad only a pair of wind pants and shoes he looked pretty good all sweaty and such from the jog he was doing, and many eyes turned his way as he passed by them but he wasnt paying attention to his surroundings. His eyes were on the sand, his ears on the words that went through his mind and the sound of his feet hitting the sand.
He was so preoccupied he ran right into someone else that was on the beach, they went to the ground he on top of her. "Im so sorry"he said his words outu of his mouth as he pushed back to looke down at he girl only to blink again.. "Daisy?"he asked, tme seeming to still.

Daisy had been gazing out at the ocean and hadn't seen the man heading straight for her. Hadn't heard the warning shout from someone else on the beach before she was sent crashing to the sand underneath of her, sand everywhere, face pressed against sweaty flesh and a familiar scent she'd never be able to forget. Her eyes widened as the broad chest pushed off of her, aided by muscular arms that she recalled every minute she had spent in. His eyes had widened, connecting with her blue ones as he mumbled an apology and her name fell from his lips.
"West." She drew in a breath, part of her wishing he wouldn't get up, that he'd grant her just a few more moments of being pressed against his body...even if it's not what he wanted. The water came up to play tag with her bare toes as she lay beneath him, her hands instinctively sliding up across his arms. "H...hi."
She didn't know why she felt so awkward when she shouldn't. They had shared one night, not an uncommon thing these days, and certainly not when one was on vacation at a resort on a tropical island. Then why was the fact that she knew they'd have to separate causing a pit to form in the bottom of her stomach? Daisy O'Connor, can't you do a damn thing without getting your heart involved? She thought as she looked up into his dark eyes and tried to read the emotions she found there.

As his name left her lips he let a smile grace his lips. "hey.."He said back to her. "Fancy meeting you here"he smirked as he satup brushing the sand off himself and reaching down to pull herself up as well. "are you arlight? I didnt hurt you did i?"he asked, he was playing it off as though nothin ghad happed. Well not nothing, but he was playing as if theyd been talking this whole time, there had never been a few days where hed disappered.
"Just out for a jog. You enjoying your vacation time?'he asked. What to do now small talk. Heh.. West wasnt usually a small talk person. He looked at her, she was beautiful as ever, and how he wanted to take her right over to that little alcove over there away from everyone. He wanted to pull her into his arms and to experience another wonderful timme with her. He knew everytimme would be good. He knew he could never tire of her. how he knew that he didnt know it was just a feeling. Like the fact that ever time their skin came in contact there was a jolt that went through his body.

"I'm fine..." She said, standing up and doing her best to brush the sand off of the exposed portions of her back and legs. "The sand is soft and you...you didn't land on me hard." She blushed a little, drifting down towards the water, still brushing at errant grains of sand. She didn't know what to say to him, wasn't sure how to talk to someone who had left her bed in the early morning hours. She cleared her throat, tugging on the strap of her bikini, chewing on her bottom lip. She was a normally confident, outgoing person, but something about West unsettled her...and not in an entirely bad way.
"The vacation is good...aye, the resort is lovely," She waved her hand back towards the buildings before returning to gaze out over the water. Watching him out of the corner of her eye, taking in the strong lines of his muscular frame, she searched for something to say...anything. She could feel the connection between them, sizzling and alive as it had been that one night and she wasn't sure what to make of that.
"Was thinking about going for a morning swim," She said, drifting more into the water until she was knee deep, pausing to turn and look over her shoulder at him. "You want to join me?" Turning, she gracefully dove out into the water, allowing the coolness of it to try and cool the rushing of blood in her veins.

He couldnt help but look at her feminine curves incased in the binkini she wore. He remembered what she looked like without anything on and i was just as good as when she wore something. He was glad she wasnt hurt and nodded as she explained. She was cute.
He licked his lips watching as she edged towards teh water, as it licked at her legs. Going for a swim, and she asked if hed join. He should say no.. it was at the tip of his tongue, but instead his legs moved him closer to the water as his voice came out and agreed to go. What was he doing!
It was too late to take it back as he dove into the water after her, not caring if his pants were still on. He swam towards hwere he could see her legs and resurfaced brushing the hiar from his face. 'hello"he grinned and then put ana rm around her waist kssing her. He couldnt hel phimself hed been thinking of doing that since he saw he landed on ehr.

She surfaced and was immediately caught up in his arms, the familiar feel of being there barely given a chance to register before he was dipping his head down and kissing her. Logic said she should pull away from him, that she had tempted fate by even asking him to take the swim with her. She wasn't naive, she knew that there were men out there who played games, ones who toyed with women's emotions just to get what they wanted.
But damn...kissing West felt good. She heard a soft moan sound past her lips as she nestled closer, her mouth opening to him as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Dreaming about this hadn't even come close to the reality of it. Longing for it had only made the fact that it was happening that much more pleasurable. Her mind forgot where she was, in the warm ocean water at a resort in the islands, focused only on the fusing of West's mouth to hers. Her legs lifted, surrounding his waist beneath that water and pressing as close as she could.

He let out a groan as her legs went around him. "Theres a private beach just around the cforner"He murmerd against her lips, god how he wanted her now. "wanna?"he asked his mouth moving to her enck his arm circling around her waist and running down to her aask stroking it under the water. He pulled back. "I mean"he said, "ah.. hm..."He raised his brow and smirked a bit. "hmm... 'He leaned forward kissing her again before letting heer go and swimming away to turne around and wave her to followe him.

"I..." Daisy began, intent on protesting, knowing somewhere in the back of her mind that she shouldn't be doing this. Her heart was already too involved and she risked getting in deeper if she followed him. But he had swam away from her and wasn't listening, so she was forced to follow, so that he would listen. She dove after him, swimming with strong, sure strokes to catch up to him, her hand wrapping around his ankle to capture his attention.
"West..." She began, biting her lower lip as she treaded water, trying not to focus on the droplets of water that coasted down his chest and disappeared into the ocean. "I...we...I really shouldn't." She sighed and tried not to think about how wonderful it had felt to be in his arms again, how fabulous his lips had felt pressed against hers.

he felt her hand on his ackle and he stopped turningto her. He smiled at her sort of, and then raised his brow as she said that they shouldnt do this. "Shouldnt do what?.... Swim?"he asked, curious. He looked around seeing the beach was getting busier and busier as the day went on. Of course it would it alway s did. it was nice day out too.
Turning his attention back to her he brushed some wet hair from her face, and then framed her face dipping his head to kiss her lightly. "Want to get out of the water?"he asked.

She was caught off guard by the kiss, unprepared for it, her mind still hovering somewhere back at his fingers brushing wet hair from her face. Instinctively she kissed him back, unable to do little more than nod at his suggestion. Perhaps feeling the heat of the sand beneath her feet would give her direction, help her to find her balance once again. She wandered after him, moving slower, watching the steady movement of the muscles in his back as they swam for shore.
As they waded out, Daisy didn't look at him, afraid if she did, she'd get caught up in the moment again and be unable to say no to him. He'd played off her early denial, dodged by pretending he hadn't implied what he had. But she knew the truth, had seen the lust darkening his eyes, the same lust that had licked at her belly by just the simple feel of his fingers. Her mind flashed with bold and vivid memories, West's skin beneath her hands, his lips across her breast, the feel of him inside of her. How much she wanted it again, how she longed for that connection not only physically, but with her whole being.

West got them onto the shore."where you towel?'he asked as he looked around, he himself didnt have anything and his shoes were soaking wet. He lifted his feet taking his shoes and sock soff. he hated the feel of wet sock. HE wondered where they go, maybe he'd take her to see a show.
Wait why was this soundinga whole lot like a date. Wierd...'
He glanced over at her, "you okay?"he asked noting her silence, she wasnt usually silent, well she was and yet she wasnt, and since when did he know what she was usually like. He knew her for maybe 24 hours.. thats it.

"I didn't bring one with me," Daisy said, reaching up to wring the water from her hair before crossing her arms over her stomach. "I wasn't really planning..." She trailed off and then lapsed into silence again. She had no idea what to say, if she'd had courage she'd tell him she wanted to see him again, wanted to spend time with him.
But a cursory examination told her he wasn't the type of man that was prone to dates or spending quality time together. Though he had mentioned that one relationship...damn it. Now she was all mixed up and confused inside and didn't know what to do about it. They were standing there in the sun not saying a word to one another and she could feel the tension smacking between them. She bit her lip and looked over at him, feeling something akin to courage wash over her.
She was on vacation after all, on a tropical island. If she was going to be bold, what better place than this. The worst that could happen was he'd brush her aside, and she was prepared for that. Clearing her throat she touched him lightly on the arm, "West...would you like...I mean...perhaps we could get together for dinner sometime?"
